No pictures = boring ... So

No pictures = boring ... So, here are 2 pictures :P

Here's my watch box. The Rolex Sea DWeller is gone, but it will be replaced with an incoming GMT Master II 116710.

And here's a picture of my GW6900-1. Its just so much fun wearing it and I am hooked.

So its geocities no more ...

Geocities is finally gone at last. Don't know if I am going to stick with blog or find a new (free) hosting service. But the BS-ing has to go on ... LOL

So I sold my Rolex Sea Dweller ... again, ain't that sounded familiar ... -_-' Anyway, this time is for real because I was just not happy with the lume and the clasp doesn't center on my wrist (because there are too many non-removeable links at the 6 o'clock bracelet). Otherwise, I actually think its a fantastic watch, with great history, design and quite comfortable on the wrist for its size.

I guess I like/need the newer maxi dial and hands ... which brings me to my incoming Rolex GMT II Master 116710LN with ceramic bezel insert. It has the full maxi dial and hands, with scratch resistance ceramic bezel insert, update 3186 movement with Parachrom Blu Hairspring. It also has a AR coating on the inside of the crystal and the cyclops. Sounds like its quite a catch. :-) So I am going to give it a try and see how I like it. If I like it and keep it, then I would have to maybe let of a few watches ... actually not just for funding the watch, but for just in case another watch comes up available that I like and I have to get it ... LOL :D

The watch that's on the chopping board maybe ...

  1. Omega SMP GMT white dial (great watch but I don't know if I need 2 GMT watches in my collection)
  2. modded Seiko 300m Tuna (I like it but it doesn't seems to have much wrist time)
  3. Casio G-Shock DW8800 Codename (I was going to keep it as a collection, so no wrist time)
  4. Casio G-Shock DW5600C with 691 module (I was going to keep it as a collection, so no wrist time)
  5. Casio G-Shock hybrid GW810/GWM850 (I think I like my GW6900 so much that this one doesn't get wrist time any more)

I am actualy a little surprised that I am not thinking of letting go of the Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master 500 LE, but I do like it quite a bit. :-)

So What's left in my collection would be ...

  1. Rolex GMT Master II 116710LN (incoming ...)
  2. Omega blue SMP bond co-axial (best bang of bucks at its price segment #1)
  3. Marathon SAR on maple leaf bracelet (best bang of bucks at its price segment #2)
  4. Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master 500 LE
  5. Casio G-Shock GW6900-1
  6. Casio G-Shock GW9200 Riseman (has best features for all Casio IMO))
  7. Casio G-Shock MTG910DJ (MI:3 ... )
  8. Casio G-Shock DW5600C with 901 module (classic and I just have to keep it)
  9. Casio Pathfinder Triple Sensor PAW1300T with titanium bracelet
  10. Casio G-Shock G2310 with zulu strap (I might need to wear it outside of thick ski coat)
  11. Timex Ironman 8-lap 200m shock resistant (my gym bag watch, throw it in and forget about it)
  12. Timex Ironman iControl with iPod control (pretty much only for using with my iPod when running)

Well nothing is set on stone yet, so we'll see ... :p

What I am still keeping my eye on would be ...

  • Casio G-Shock GW7900B
  • Rolex Submariner 14060M COSC
  • Rolex Milgauss (black dial, maybe GV ... I don't know)
  • Omega Seamaster Professional 1200m Ploprof (grail!)

For the Rolexes and Omega, that won't be anytime soon ... LOL :p
